This model of melting unit gives an illustrative and vivid picture for the students to have an intelligent grasp of the process. The various important parts such as blast pipe tuyere, tapping spout, slag, hole charging door, and drop bottom are shown. The unit is clearly labelled and cutaway in design to give an interior view of the cupola shaft i.e. fining etc. Mounted on 30 cm square wooden base and is 70 cm high approximately.
