It is an important model showing the main structural features, hearth, electrode holders and arrangement for positioning the electrodes and tilting the furnace etc. The model is made of wooden and metal parts assembled on approximately 40x35 cm board.

Rocking bath type. This type has an advantage over the stationary ones. It permits quick tapping, slogging, servicing and lining repairs.
