Full Specification ( Single Cylinder 4 Stroke Petrol Engine Test Rig ):
The rig comprises of air-cooled, Four Stroke petrol engine provided with rope brake I electrical dynamometer. Rope brake is water-cooled. Water rehostate for loading electrical dynamometer. Temperatures are measured by a digital temperature indicator. Various measurements provided enable to determine S.H.P. fuel and air intake and brake thermal efficiency, at various loads.

[2] Coupled to engine, with rope wound around the drum. Spring balance for loading the engine.
[3] Water cooling flmmgement for the drum.

[4] Intake tank of 250 X 250 X 250 mm.
[5] Fitted with orifice and water manometer.
[6] Calibrated burette with three-way cock assembly for cutting off the fuel supply from the tank.
[7] Water cooled exhaust gas calorimeter, shell, and coil type to study the heat lost to exhaust gases.
Mulltichannel digital temperature indicator for measuring inlet and outlet temperatures of exhaust gases and water. A detailed technical manual accompanies the unit.
