Four Stroke Diesel Engine The air-cooled four-stroke
diesel engine with direct injection is securely mounted on a base plate
with vibration dampers. The plate is fitted in the mounting provided on
the test stand and bolted into place. A covered V-belt drive is used to
connect it to the brake unit. The engine contains a sensor for measuring
the exhaust gas temperature, which is connected to the display and
control panel. The fuel supply hose has a self-sealing quick-release
coupling.
